Allsvenskan, also known as Fotbollsallsvenskan, is the top football division in Sweden. It was founded in 1924. There are 16 teams competing in the league. At the end of the season the champions qualify for the Champions League, 2nd and 3rd placed teams to Conference League. The bottom two sides are relegated to Superettan, the 14th placed teams plays in a relegation play-offs. Malmö FF are the defending champions.
