The Czech First League, known as the Fortuna liga for sponsorship reasons, is a Czech professional league for football clubs. At the top of the Czech football league system, it is the country’s primary football competition. The league is contested by 18 clubs. At the end of the season top two teams qualify for the Champions League and 3rd and 4th placed teams to Conference League. Bottom three sides are relegated to the FNL. Sparta Praha are the most successful club with 12 titles. Slavia Praha are the defending champions.
