The Heidelberg Sports Village Stadium is a proposed state-of-the-art soccer stadium that is set to be built on the 34-acre Heidelberg/Davis complex owned by Metro Parks. The $60 million stadium will be a venue for the Tacoma Defiance, a men’s soccer team, and Reign FC, a women’s team. This visionary sports village project is estimated to cost around $265 million, with $205 million being privately funded for a complex that will include 520 units of multifamily housing, retail space, and affordable housing. The 5,000-seat stadium will be the centerpiece of the development, providing a world-class sporting experience for fans while serving as a catalyst for economic growth in the area.
