Future La Rinconada Stadium

Located just outside Caracas the capital of Venezuela, this 35,000-seat baseball stadium will be the home venue of the Venezuela national baseball team. Designed to world-class standards, the stadium is also specific to the unique conditions, opportunities, and traditions of Venezuela. Drawing on the country’s rich colors, patterns, and textures for inspiration, the design is something of a cultural allegory. Concourses are open to the playing field and to the city of Caracas beyond. The concept of the stadium dates back to 2014 when the project was announced, since then there were multiple delays to the project and there is no opening date for the stadium.
