The San Francisco Glens Soccer Club has plans to build a new stadium called the Treasure Island Stadium, as part of its vision to field men’s and women’s professional teams. The stadium will have a regulation-size pitch compliant with FIFA-certified standards and include three smaller practice fields for training. A clubhouse complete with locker rooms, media room, office space, and more will also be included. The modular grandstand along the touchline will seat up to 1,500 fans and other amenities such as a press box, lights, concessions, and restrooms will also be included. The stadium will offer spectacular views of the Bay Bridge on one side and the iconic San Francisco skyline on the other, marking the first time in the city’s soccer history that a local club will build its own stadium. The Treasure Island Stadium will be used for official games, higher-profile friendlies, and other events. The construction’s second phase started in late 2022, bringing the stadium closer to its grand opening.
