There are 20 teams competing in the league. The top 4 sides qualify for the Champions League, 5th place to Europa League and 6th place to Conference League. The bottom three sides are relegated to Segunda División. Espanyol, Mallorca, and Rayo Vallecano are the newly promoted teams. Atletico Madrid are the defending champions.
