The 2022–23 Ligue 1 will be the 85th season of the Ligue 1, France’s premier football competition. It will begin on 6 August 2022 and will conclude on 4 June 2023. There are 20 teams competing in the league. Toulouse, Ajaccio and Auxerre are newly promoted teams. Paris Saint-Germain are the defending champions.
