The English Football League One or Sky Bet League One for sponsorship reasons is the third division of the entire English football league system. There are 24 clubs competing in League One. Top two teams are promoted to the Championship, with clubs from 3rd to 6th placed playing the play-offs to determine the last promoted side. The bottom four teams are relegated to League Two.
