The TFF 1. Lig is the second level of the Turkish football league system. The 2020–21 TFF First League is the 58th season of the second-level football league of Turkey since its establishment in 1963–64. There was no relegation to or from the TFF First League the prior year due to the Coronavirus Pandemic. The top two teams are promoted to the Süper Lig, and teams from 3rd to 6th placed play promotion play-off for third Süper Lig spot. The bottom three teams are relegated to TFF Second League.
