UEFA Champions League Finals Stadiums (2022-2025)

List of venues that will host the upcoming UEFA Champions League finals.

2022: Gazprom Arena

The final of the 2021/22 Champions League season will be held in Saint Petersburg, Russia, and the venue will be Krestovsky Stadium, known as Gazprom Arena for sponsorship reasons and Saint Petersburg Stadium for UEFA competitions. The stadium has a capacity of 67,800 and it opened on 22 April 2017. The stadium is the home stadium of FC Zenit St. Petersburg. This will be the 2nd Champions League final held in Russia after Luzhniki hosted 2008 final.

2023: Atatürk Olympic Stadium

Originally planned to host 2020 final, and then in 2021, which were both moved due to pandemic, The Atatürk Olympic Stadium will host its second Champions League final, after the 2005 final between Milan and Liverpool. Located in Istanbul, Turkey, the stadium opened on 31 July 2002 and has a capacity of 74,753. The stadium was renovated in 2020 and it’s currently the home venue of Fatih Karagümrük.

In 2024 London will host its 8th Champions League final. This will be the 3rd final hosted by the new Wembley, after the 2011 final between Barcelona and Manchester United, and the 2013 final between Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund. Wembley has a capacity of 90,000 and it is the home of England national football team. It opened on 9 March 2007 at the side of the old ground which hosted 5 finals.

2025: Allianz Arena

Located in Munich, Germany, the Allianz Arena will host the final in the 2024/25 season. This will be the 5th final held in Munich and the 2nd final held at the Allianz Arena, after hosting the 2012 final between Chelsea and Bayern Munich. The stadium has a capacity of 70,000 for European matches and it opened on 30 May 2005. It is the home of FC Bayern Munich and it’s known as Fußball Arena München for UEFA competitions.
