The Nemzeti Bajnokság also known as NB I is the highest level of the Hungarian football league system. The league is currently known as the OTP Bank Liga for sponsorship reasons, and it has been the highest level of the professional league since its inception in 1901. 12 teams compete in the league, playing each other thrice, once at home and once away. At the end of the season, the champion qualifies the UEFA Champions League, while 2nd and 3rd placed teams qualify for the UEFA Conference League. The bottom two clubs are relegated to Nemzeti Bajnokság II.
