The Israeli Premier League, officially The Tel Aviv Stock Exchange League (ליגת הבורסה לניירות ערך) for sponsorship purposes, is a professional association football league which operates as the highest division of the Israeli Football League. The league is contested by 14 clubs, and operates on a system of promotion and relegation with its second division Liga Leumit. The winner qualify for the Champions League, 2nd and 3rd placed teams qualify for Conference League. Maccabi Haifa are the most successful club with 7 titles. Maccabi Tel Aviv are the defending champions.
