The capacity of Allegiant Stadium for NFL Football is 65,000 and for soccer is 61,000. Though this capacity can be further increased to 71,000 if a need arises.

The Allegiant Stadium’s construction cost is US$1.9 Billion and is owned by Las Vegas Stadium Authority.
Home of many teams
This stadium serves as the home stadium for Las Vegas Raiders of the NFL and Rebels College Football team of the UNLV. The Las Vegas Bowl and Vegas Kickoff Classic are also played at the stadium.
Former names
Just like almost every stadium, Allegiant Stadium also has some former names – Raiders Stadium which was selected before the construction of the stadium began and Las Vegas Stadium during the construction period but at the end, the name Allegiant was selected.
Construction material
In the construction of Allegiant Stadium, a total of 28000 tons of steel was used which is heavier than the weight of the Statue of Liberty.
Equipment installed
One of the most interesting facts about this stadium is that it has a total of 2,200 TVs and 44 escalators installed in the building. It also has 425 Trees that are planted to keep the environment fresh.

This stadium was built by keeping in view the versatility. This stadium can host 10 events.
No fans on the opening day
The stadium’s opening ceremonies are always so iconic with a lot of people heading for the stadium to see the beauty but unfortunately the day Allegiant stadium was opened, no fans were there because of Covid-19 restrictions.

The popularity of this stadium is huge because of how well it has been built. This is one of the main reasons that this stadium is selected to host the Super Bowl LVIII which will take place in 2024.
