Veikkausliiga is the premier division of Finnish football. There are 12 teams competing in the league. At the end of the season the champions qualify for the Champions League, 2nd and 3rd place for Conference League. The bottom side is relegated to Ykkönen and 11th placed team play in relegation play-off. VPS are the newly promoted team. HJK are the defending champions.
