The Ultimate Seating Guide to Brentford Community Stadium

Matt Tait October 9, 2025
Brentford Community Stadium

Brentford Community Stadium is one of the Premier League’s most modern and compact grounds, with a capacity of just over 17,000. Opened in 2020, it replaced Griffin Park, the club’s beloved old home, and brought a fresh sense of ambition to West London football. Every seat here feels close to the pitch, but there are still subtle differences between stands that can completely change the matchday experience.

The West Stand – Premium and Perfect Views

The West Stand is the main stand and offers the most complete viewing experience. It houses the dugouts, media areas, and player tunnel, so it’s where you’ll catch all the matchday drama up close.

  • Best for: balanced view, comfort, and atmosphere
  • Recommended blocks: 226 to 229 (central sections for the halfway line view)
  • Perks: padded seating in hospitality sections, easy access to lounges and bars
  • Tip: the top rows in the West Stand offer an excellent panoramic view of the entire pitch, perfect for tactical-minded fans.

The South Stand – Heart of the Brentford Support

The South Stand is where the Brentford faithful truly make their presence felt. The noise, chants, and energy flow from here, creating an electric home atmosphere that spreads across the ground.

  • Best for: authentic Brentford matchday experience
  • Recommended blocks: 112 to 114 (central to the goal and close to the action)
  • Perks: incredible atmosphere, proximity to the pitch
  • Tip: wear red and white and be ready to stand and sing for ninety minutes.

The East Stand – Family and Relaxed Viewing

The East Stand is known for being family-friendly, with good facilities and a calmer environment. The view is still strong, with excellent sightlines along the touchline.

  • Best for: families and neutral visitors
  • Recommended blocks: 206 to 208
  • Perks: great visibility, friendly crowd, close to amenities
  • Tip: sit higher up for a better overview, as the front rows can be slightly low for full-pitch views.

The North Stand – Visiting Fans and Away Days

The North Stand hosts the away supporters, with a clear and fair allocation. Despite being one of the smaller away ends in the Premier League, it’s known for its good sightlines and close proximity to the action.

  • Best for: away fans and neutral visitors wanting the opposite view
  • Recommended blocks: 118 to 120
  • Perks: good acoustics for travelling supporters, safe and well-organised entry points
  • Tip: the upper rows offer the best balance of view and atmosphere, avoiding pitch-level obstructions.

Hospitality and Premium Seating

Brentford offers several hospitality options within the West Stand, each designed with comfort and connection in mind.

  • The Orchard: a casual, social hospitality area with inclusive food and drink.
  • The Dugout: a modern lounge with direct pitchside views and padded seats.
  • The Legends Lounge: fine dining and premium seats near the halfway line.

These experiences are designed for those wanting luxury without losing the intimacy of a compact stadium.

The Verdict

  • For the best tactical view: upper rows of the West Stand, central blocks.
  • For the loudest atmosphere: South Stand behind the goal.
  • For families: East Stand, mid-level rows.
  • For visiting fans: North Stand upper rows.

Brentford Community Stadium’s design means that no seat is truly bad. Every corner is close enough to the pitch to feel the intensity of the Premier League, yet distinct enough to tailor your matchday to your style, be it singing your heart out, analysing every move, or enjoying a family afternoon in comfort.
