Stadium Information

Coca-Cola Coliseum is a historic indoor arena located at Exhibition Place in Toronto and one of the city’s most enduring sports venues. Opened in 1921 as the Coliseum, the arena has hosted nearly a century of professional and amateur sport, exhibitions and concerts. While smaller than Toronto’s modern downtown arenas, its steep seating bowl and enclosed design create clear sightlines and a direct, intimate atmosphere.

With a capacity of just over eight thousand for hockey, the venue retains a traditional arena feel. The arena is best known as the home of the Toronto Marlies, the American Hockey League affiliate of the Toronto Maple Leafs. Game nights are lively and community- focused, with fans seated close to the ice and crowd noise building quickly. Coca-Cola Coliseum has also hosted NBA games, World Cup of Hockey events, indoor soccer and a wide range of concerts, reflecting its flexibility despite its age.

Coca-Cola Coliseum is easily accessible via GO Transit, streetcar routes and local buses serving Exhibition Place. Parking is available across the exhibition grounds rather than directly attached to the arena. Accessibility features include step-free access, wheelchair seating areas, adapted toilets and assistance services. Surrounded by exhibition halls, BMO Field and Lake Ontario, the arena remains a key part of Toronto’s sporting and events landscape.
