The Aichi Arena is a state-of-the-art multi-purpose sport and entertainment venue designed in accordance with the most modern industry standards and best practices of similar high-profile arenas throughout the world. With a seating capacity of approximately 16,000, the Aichi Arena hosts a wide range of events including end-stage concerts, center-stage concerts, international basketball and ice hockey, volleyball, futsal, and sumo wrestling matches.
The new gymnasium will be designed by famous architect Kengo Kuma and is expected to open in the summer of 2025, in advance of the 20th Asian Games Aichi-Nagoya 2026.
